Introduction to ZMDRC
The Zanjan Metabolic Disease Research Center (ZMDRC) is located in the Vali-asr Hospital in Zanjan, Iran , and is affiliated to Zanjan University of Medical Sciences. It is the first established research center in Zanjan, and the second one for metabolic diseases in Iran that seeks to provide an optimal setting for research in metabolic diseass specially metabolic syndrome. The ZMDRC is trying to recognize, produce and distribute information which serves the interests of the scientific society, patients and general population as a whole, in order to promote the overall health status of the society.
